Announcing: HTTP/2 Support in Azure App Service

ทีม Azure App Service มีความยินดีที่จะประกาศว่าตอนนี้ผู้ที่ใช้งาน App service สามารถเปิดการใช้งาน HTTP/2 protocol ได้แล้วโดยผู้ที่ใช้งาน App service เดิมจะไม่มีผลกระทบเรื่อง downtime.

What is HTTP/2?

HTTP/2 เป็น protocol ที่อยู่ใน Windows10 และ Windows Server 2016 หลังจากที่เปิดใช้งานบน App Service แล้วจะช่วยให้ลด Latency และ Work load ของตัว web servers ได้. โดยจะมี Feature ที่เพิ่มขึ้นตามนี้

What are the key differences from HTTP/1.x?

• HTTP/2 is binary

• Fully multiplexed, instead of ordered and blocking

• Ability to use one connection for parallelism

• Has one TCP/IP connection

• Uses header compression to reduce overhead
